What is the Warm Homes: Social Housing Fund?
The Warm Homes: Social Housing Fund (WH:SHF) was formerly known as the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) Wave 3. It is a UK government-funded scheme that offers grants to Social Landlords and Local Authorities to upgrade energy-inefficient properties to an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) band C.
£1.29 billion was awarded across 144 projects to be delivered between 2025 and 2028.
Social Landlords and Local Authorities are required to match the grant amount to fund upgrades to properties.
