What is Warm Homes: Local Grant?

Warm Homes: Local Grant is a government-funded scheme launched in 2025, aimed at improving energy efficiency and providing low-carbon heating solutions for low-income households in England. Delivered through Local Authorities, the grant targets privately owned homes with a low Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating.

Eligible households could receive upgrades such as Insulation, Solar Panels or an Air Source Heat Pump, depending on what best suits their home. The goal is to enhance energy efficiency, reduce heating costs, and support the transition to greener energy. Upgrades will be installed at eligible households, ensuring support reaches those who need it most.
