How do they work?

Solar panel/Solar PV/Solar Photovoltaic systems convert energy from the sun into electricity. A Solar PV system comprises of panels, an inventor, isolator switches, a PV generator meter and cables.

Solar Panels work as long as it's light. But the stronger the sunlight, the better they will work, generating more electricity.

You can benefit from the installation of Solar Panels by utilising the energy they are producing in real time; powering your white goods in the home during daylight hours.

You can further benefit by signing up for the Smart Export Guarantee (SEG). This allows you to export any electricity generated by your solar panels back to the national grid, in which you will be compensated for.
